Public asked to nominate businesses for state award

OLYMPIA — Do you know of a local business that does a lot in your community?

The Secretary of State is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Corporations for Communities Award.

Secretary of State Kim Wyman will choose one large and one small business for the award. Large companies are those with 100 or more employees.

Winners will receive a National Association of Secretaries of State Medallion, which is the highest civics honor that the state awards.
