AppleSox stumble after All-Star game

WENATCHEE — The Kelowna Falcons scored 12 runs in the first two innings on Tuesday en route to a 17-1 blowout victory over the Wenatchee AppleSox at Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium.

The Falcons out hit the Sox 20-8 as every Kelowna player in the lineup — aside from one pinch hitter — logged a hit. The Sox, conversely, had only one extra-base hit as their pitching staff struggled with control — they walked seven and hit two batters.
