Arthur Karl Kiedrowski

August 24, 1931 ~ July 24, 2014

Arthur Karl Kiedrowski, age 82, of Okanogan, WA, passed away July 24, 2014, at his home in the presence of his family. Born August 24, 1931, in Fortuna, ND, he moved to Spokane, WA with his family as a small child, later lived in Quincy, WA as a young teen, and then moved to Brewster, WA, where he graduated from Brewster High School. Arthur served in the Korean War on the front lines. He met June Taylor and they were married on October 15, 1955. He worked for the Washington State Patrol for 29 - 1/2 years and retired as a Sergeant in 1987 from the Okanogan Detachment.

He was preceded in death by his parents: father, John Kiedrowski and mother, Elsie Rawley; step-dad, Frank Rawley; brother, John; and his sister, Barbara Kime. He is survived by his wife, June; son, David (Carol); daughter, Diane Gilmer (Cal); six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Arthur loved to go fishing with his grandsons. He attended the Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel in Okanogan, WA, with Interment to follow at the Omak City Cemetery. Arrangements by Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel, Okanogan.
