Chances are you drove past Pioneer Park last weekend and saw a sea of tents, trailers and kids packed inside. That would have been the 808 swimmers and their families from across Washington and Canada that gathered at the Wenatchee City Pool for the Crunch Pak Apple Capital, May 30-June 1.

Wenatchee’s Velocity Swimming was the host to the Crunch Pak Apple Capital, the first long course (50 meters) meet of the year. The annual event is considered to be one of the largest sporting events in the city.
