WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee AppleSox are preparing for a new season with a host of new faces who have yet to make it to North Central Washington, but on opening day today, the roster will be dominated by regional players.

Due to the combination of the West Coast League season starting relatively early, the College World Series just getting into the super-regional round and the Major League Baseball Draft starting on June 5, the Sox will have to turn to temporary players to fill their roster.
