THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

John C. “Court” Rylaarsdam

George, WA

John C. “Court” Rylaarsdam, age 78, of George, WA, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. In 1960, Court moved his family to George and started his life dream of being a farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, of the family home; children, John (Marie) Rylaarsdam of Quincy, Cherie Escure of George, Bonnie (Dennis) Dickinson of Las Vegas, NV, Fred (Tami) Rylaarsdam of Lynden and his adopted daughter, Laura Lewis of Seattle; five grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Quincy Free Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grant County Fire District 3, George Battalion Memorial Garden or the Quincy Christian Reformed Memorial Fund. Please leave a memory for the family or sign their guestbook at www.scharbachs.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Scharbach’s Columbia Funeral Chapel, 300 G Street SE, Quincy.
