Local cartoonist draws on experience to identify cartoon world’s ‘Bigfoot’

Cashmere cartoonist Dan McConnell had figured out the Big Mystery days before the earth-shaking revelation was revealed to the rest of the world.

McConnell phoned The Wenatchee World on Thursday to say that evidence was stacking up to support his hypothesis that famously reclusive Bill Watterson, creator of the “Calvin and Hobbes” comic strip, was indeed back in the cartooning game.
