EAST WENATCHEE — A vehicle traveling at more than 100 mph crashed into five parked cars at the intersection of Grant Road and Highway 28 Wednesday night, then crossed the highway and came to rest on a sidewalk on the south side of Fred Meyer.

The driver, a 35-year-old East Wenatchee woman, was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving. She was transported to Central Washington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, said Dan Reierson, assistant chief for the East Wenatchee Police Department.
