NCW — Less than a dozen wildland fires sparked by lightning Thursday afternoon are all contained this morning, fire officials say.

Some 337 strikes hit the ground in Chelan and Douglas counties, bringing a possibility of holdover fires over the next few days, said Jim Duck, dispatch coordinator at the Central Washington Interagency Communications Center in East Wenatchee.
