AppleSox fall to Rogues in 1st game of road trip

MEDFORD, Ore. — The Wenatchee AppleSox lost to the Medford Rogues 8-4 on Saturday at Harry and David Field.

The contest was the first of a six-game southern Oregon road trip for the AppleSox.

The Rogues recorded 14 hits, and broke the game open with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Wenatchee starting pitcher Tom Zarosinski allowed eight runs and seven runs in five innings, striking out four and walking none.
