Conscious Culture Festival 2014 begins Friday

TONASKET — The fifth-annual Conscious Culture Festival will be held Friday through Sunday at the Barter Faire site, 72 Cayuse Mountain Road in Tonasket.

The three-day festival is presented by Okanogan Highlands Productions. It will feature music, art and education, as well as over 40 live acts and 40 DJs playing reggae, rock, folk, soul, hip hop, dubstep and the blues. Some of the acts include fire dancers, aerial performers, a kids area, local crafts, food, camping and workshops.
