Like many others who remember their educators, Ted Zacher left his mark with a bequest to Wenatchee Valley College.
A member of the second graduating class of 1942, he went on to become one of the agricultural leaders of the area.
He died this week at 91, with a memorial service today.
His $432,000 contribution is a substantial addition to the college’s foundation, a mainstay of help for its students.
