Bobbie Neal Miller

April 21, 1929 ~ June 23, 2014

Bobbie was born to Alfred Glen “Whitey” and Elsie Virginia (McKeehan) Miller in Wichita, KS. He enrolled in the Navy, where he served for 20 years, ending his career as a Chief Petty Officer, dental technician. He then was a volunteer firefighter for Fire District #7 in Snohomish County. His volunteering at the Fire Department led to a full time position. He retired after 25 years of service, with the rank of Deputy Chief. While volunteering at the Fire Department, he worked as a dental technician at a dental clinic. He went on to start his own dental lab in Snohomish. He enjoyed a full life of fishing, camping, remodeling homes and working on projects. After he and Barbara retired, they enjoyed trips to Loughlin, NV and volunteering at the hospital.

Bobbie leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; his five children, Dennis (Dana), DiAnn (Robert), Patty (Mike), Mark (Marci), and Debbie; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Bobbie will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Faith Lutheran Church, 171 Eastmont Avenue in East Wenatchee, with a reception to follow at the church. A Graveside Service will also be held at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Arrangements by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
