WENATCHEE — There’s no doubt that the unbeaten Cashmere girls basketball team will enter the 1A state quarterfinal round at Yakima’s SunDome on Thursday as the favorite to win the state championship.

Whether the Bulldogs actually bring home the gold ball or not will depend on a variety of factors. But head coach Brent Darnell knows that his team won’t be shying away from any pressure that might come with the role of front-runner.
