WENATCHEE — At the end of its 1A state regional playoff game Saturday at Wenatchee High School, the Okanogan boys basketball team didn’t celebrate. It didn’t show any emotion. The Bulldogs’ players quietly shuffled off the court in business-like fashion.
Sure, Okanogan was happy to advance to the state quarterfinals for the second consecutive year with a 70-60 win over Vashon Island. But the Bulldogs know that they’re going to enter the Yakima SunDome this week as a favorite to win the title, and they believe they have the talent and experience to do just that.
