WENATCHEE — Don Moos, one of Washington’s most esteemed and accomplished statesmen, died in Wenatchee on Friday. He was 90.
Moos, a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, had a long and storied career as a public servant. He served four terms in the state House of Representatives. He was appointed state director of Agriculture, deputy regional administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, state director of Fisheries and state director of Ecology.
