Chamber supporting ‘Lifted’

As many of you may have heard, we here at North 40 Productions are producing a film entitled “Lifted” that celebrates the love skiers and snowboarders have for their sport and their home mountain, set at our local ski area, Mission Ridge. Once finished, after throwing a giant party with the Mission Ridge community, the plan is to push this movie in front of a much wider audience through national broadcast television and worldwide digital platforms like iTunes and Netflix.

The Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce recently made a significant financial commitment to support “Lifted” to the tune of $30,000 over three years. Though it may not be completely obvious to everyone, this is a deliberate and strategic move to benefit the Greater Wenatchee area and represents a paradigm shift in how successful economic development can be implemented.
