WENATCHEE — Got an enterprising idea?

Then consider writing it up for submission to the North Central Washington Economic Development District, the nonprofit that offers guidance and support toward completion of chosen projects.

The district is now accepting one-page letters of inquiry that explain the project, gives the timeline and outlines what support it might need to be a success. The deadline is March 14.

The NCWEDD will accept letters from organizations, municipalities and private businesses in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties, as well as the Collville Confederated Tribe.

Submitted letters will be reviewed by a committee and ranked in part on economic benefits, community benefits and development plan. Presenters of projects that meet the criteria will be asked to submit a full application.

For more info, call the NCWEDD at 682-6907, or visit ncwedd.com.
