It is with pleasure we repeat the news that Omak High School and Bridgeport Middle and High School have earned the Career Guidance Award of Excellence from the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. They are honored for the “outstanding work in their college and career readiness programs.”

These schools make a planned and concerted effort to produce more students with career skills and college-ready transcripts, and graduates less likely to need remedial training beyond high school. They showed improvements in graduation rates and academic rigor. Every student makes a plan for life after high school and because of their education and the effort that went into it, are more likely to succeed.
