SEATTLE — A King County sheriff’s spokeswoman says a man whose body was found last week in a suburban Woodinville recycling center appears to have died accidentally, likely crushed inside a recycling truck. Sgt. Cindi West said Tuesday that the King County medical examiner’s office identified the man as 65-year-old William Burns. She says Burns was a homeless man with a history of sleeping in recycling bins.
