CHELAN — The Chelan Ranger District is planning to burn about 1,185 acres of national forestland this spring as soon as the weather and fuel conditions permit.

Prescribed burning is planned in the Safety Harbor, Washington Creek, Forest Mountain, East Fork Joe Creek and Bergman Gulch areas.
