July 24, 1924 ~ February 28, 2014

Jerry Ward passed peacefully in Chelan, WA, after an extended illness. He was born in Manson, WA to Dick and Helen Ward and lived most of his life there. He was proud to be the grandson of early settlers C.C. and Harriott Ward. He was an Army Veteran, an apple orchardist and a custom home builder. Jerry was a charter member of the Lake Chelan Boating Club. He loved fishing and spending time at his cabin in Lucerne and wintering in Baja, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, Rodney Ward of Sierra, AZ; daughter, Lisa Ward of Chelan; step-daughter, Kerry Smith of Kirkland; his brothers, Dillis B. Ward III of East Wenatchee and Jack Ward and wife, Beverly of Yuma, AZ. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.

At Jerry’s request, there will be a party at the Lake Chelan Boating Club in Manson, Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Lake Chelan Boating Club, P.O. Box 325, Chelan, WA 98816.
