State parks free on Wednesday

NCW — Visitors are invited to park for free at state parks throughout North Central Washington and around the state on Wednesday.

No Discover Passes will be required to visit parks as the state agency celebrates its 101 birthday.

The free day is the third of 12 free days offered at state parks this year. Remaining free days are April 19, April 22, May 11, June 7 and 8, June 14, Aug. 25, Sept. 27 and Nov. 11.
