THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

We read our Sen. Linda Evans Parlette’s report of the legislature that she e-mailed this week, a report that stressed the fact that the legislature adjourned on time and passed the budget with bipartisan votes.

The vote in the Senate was 48-1, and in the House 85-13. It was done with no new taxes, too. There were things undone, of course, such as no action on transportation. And medical marijuana is still an issue untouched.
