Dexter “Dex” Emmons

September 14, 1952 ~ March 14, 2014

Dexter “Dex” Emmons, 61, a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born on September 14, 1952, in Leavenworth, WA to the late Rex and Frances (Cleven) Emmons. He was raised and attended schools in Leavenworth, graduating from the Leavenworth High School in 1970. He married Debra Arnold and they had three children, Scotty, Jill and Elizabeth. He started as an employee at the Wenatchee K-Mart store and earned a spot in the Manager Training Program and moved up the corporate ladder; later, he managed stores in Southern California. After retirement in the late 1990’s, he became an entrepreneur. Following an extended visit to Ghana, Africa, he returned to the Wenatchee Valley in 2002.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Kings Orchard Church of Christ in Wenatchee. You are invited to visit his tribute online at www.HeritageMemorialChapel.com. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
