A memorable event
“Thanks for the memory.” That phrase sounds out of context when I’m referring to my two-week stay at Central Washington Hospital and one-week stay at Cascade Hospital. Viral pneumonia can be fatal. I wasn’t awake for any of the short hospital stays at Cascade and the ambulance trip to Central Washington Hospital in December. I woke up in a hospital room about 24 hours later in a daze and wondered where I was, with two to three people watching me from a window or a nurse coming in to talk about how I felt or where I was. It seemed I was in left field, not remembering, but I felt safe and sleepy.
