WENATCHEE — A Seattle man who lost control and collided with a tree while skiing at Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort Friday has died.
Ray Farbarik, 47, was skiing the Kiwa run at about 10 a.m. when his ski dislodged from its binding, according to a news release from the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office.
Farbarik lost control, slid off the run and hit a tree, the release said. He was wearing a helmet, according Sgt. Kent Sisson.
