March 1, 1934 ~ October 28, 2013

Mr. Camp passed away on October 28, 2013, in Seattle, WA. He was born in Chelan, WA to Charles Milo Camp and Etta Jessie (Cumbo) Camp. He lived in Wenatchee from a very young age, having attended Wenatchee Schools, including the old Whitman Elementary School, Wenatchee Junior High School and graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1953.

Following graduation from high school, Mr. Camp attended a year at LaVerne College in LaVerne, CA. Later, Mr. Camp served as a volunteered for the Brethren Volunteer Service in Germany, helping to rebuild a bombed out school post WWII. Upon returning to Wenatchee, he returned to college, finishing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Eastern Washington University and graduated from there in 1961. He was a school teacher and he later left that field to be a bookkeeper and resided in Seattle.

Mr. Camp suffered from severe schizophrenia and later heart disease. Preceding him in death were two older brothers, Charles Milo Jr. (1927) and Marshall Victor (1944); parents, Charles Milo Camp (1956) and Etta Jessie (Cumbo) Camp (1986); and his older sister, Sarah Marie Camp, who passed away in 2011. He is survived by one younger sister, Elsie Janet Camp-Gibson of Bellingham, WA.
