Edward ‘Ed’ William Smith

Edward “Ed” William Smith, 77, a longtime resident of Leavenworth, died Friday, March 21, 2014.

He was a mechanic for the PSI Fork Lift maintenance shop in Seattle for 19 years, and later was in fire wood sales.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Smith of Leavenworth; his children, Bill Smith of Snohomish, Terri Bodine of Woodinville, Gina Badeaux of Everett, Tammie Davis of Vancouver and Ken Smith of Mukilteo; his stepdaughters, Allison Heaton of Bothell and Denise Cunningham of Lynnwood; his brother, Charles Smith of Cusick; and his sisters, Arlene DeWitt and Barbara Perritt, both of Malaga, and Donna Leland of Arizona.

A private celebration of life service will be held in April.

Arrangements are by Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee.
