Art students recognized in museum show

WENATCHEE — Students from throughout NCW earned honors at a Saturday reception for the 35th Regional High School Art Show, recognizing student artist from around the region.

Judging artists Lance Dooley, Susan Kidd, Diana Sanford and Ken Trimpe assessed and awarded works in eight different categories of painting, sculpture, mixed media and photography. The entries named best in show go on for display and competition in the state Superintendent’s High School Art Show in Olympia, with an opening ceremony and reception May 16.
