CASHMERE — A child playing with a lighter started a fire Wednesday afternoon that gutted a single-wide mobile home at a mobile home park in the 7900 block of Stine Hill Road.

No one was injured in the fire, which was reported at 1:21 p.m., said Chief Phil Mosher of Chelan County Fire District 6. “They lost everything,” Mosher said, noting that the family had no insurance on the mobile home.
