Today: A longtime resident of Seattle, Lynn is now 67 and divorced with two sons who live in Spokane and Massachusetts. She enjoys going to the ballet and Fifth Avenue Theater. She does water exercise almost daily and stays busy with yard work, reading and walking her eager cockapoo.

Personal: Lynn attended the University of Washington and married her high school sweetheart, Richard Elmore, two terms before graduating. The family followed his academic pursuits and eventual career as a college professor. That path took them to Southern California, Washington D.C., Michigan and Cambridge, Mass., where Elmore began doctorate work at Harvard and later landed a teaching job there. Lynn worked in administrative positions at universities in the same area, but stayed home for a number of years to care for the couple’s young sons. They divorced in 2000. Lynn moved back to Seattle. She worked in an administrative post at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs until 2009.
