OKANOGAN — Okanogan softball needed both wins (9-8, 2-1) Friday against Cashmere to clinch the Caribou Trail League title. The Bulldogs in Crimson did that even after falling to an 8-3 deficit in the sixth inning of the nightcap, which went into an extra inning.

Okanogan battled back and scored four runs in the bottom half of that sixth inning to cut the deficit to one run. Makenzie Norwill held Cashmere to zero in the seventh inning and then belted a solo homer in the bottom of the seventh to take the game into the eighth inning.
