WVC softball: Knights crush Timberwolves

PENDLETON, Ore. - The Wenatchee Valley College softball team moved closer to its ninth straight Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges East Region title on Friday, blasting Blue Mountain twice to sweep a doubleheader.

The Knights improved their East record to 21-3, one game ahead of Spokane with four games remaining. WVC will clinch the region championship if it sweeps Treasure Valley today and Spokane is swept by Columbia Basin.
