WENATCHEE — Police have yet to locate a 56-year-old woman who is presumed to have drowned in the Columbia River after leaving her shoes and a note on the dock at the Orondo Avenue boat launch April 28.

Crews searched on foot, by air and underwater for the woman last week but didn’t find her body, Capt. Kevin Dresker, spokesman for Wenatchee police, said Saturday. No further search dives are planned, he said.
