CASHMERE - The utter dominance of the Cashmere baseball team over its Caribou Trail League brethren is partly responsible for the end of the Bulldogs' memorable run at the top of the circuit.

At least, that's what Cascade coach Mike Kelly believes. He said so after his team beat Cashmere on Thursday to clinch at least a share of the CTL title, and said so again after the Kodiaks won the championship outright and ended the Bulldogs' streak of five straight CTL titles Friday with a 10-0 win at Cashmere High School.
