WENATCHEE — After the Wenatchee baseball team swept its doubleheader against Moses Lake on Friday, the Chiefs were still league champs and the Panthers were still in third.

But it didn’t feel that way after the game.

The Panthers played three close games with Moses Lake this week, winning both contests at Rec Park 6-4.

Sophomore Brandon Graves “came out and set the tone” in the opening game. He went 6.1 innings, surrendering four runs on seven hits.
