Donald Gene “Don” White, 79, of East Wenatchee, died Wednesday, May 14.

He was a Wenatchee area resident for over 70 years and worked as a chemist at Keokuk in Rock Island, and later at Alcoa, where he worked for over 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Carol S. White of East Wenatchee; his mother, Verneen A. White of East Wenatchee; daughter Debbie Weimer of Vancouver; stepdaughters Kathy Evans of Yakima and Tracy Parke of East Wenatchee; brothers John White of Wenatchee and Vic White of East Wenatchee.

A graveside inurnment service will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the Wenatchee Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel in East Wenatchee.
