OLYMPIA — Artworks from two Okanogan High School students were winners at the 41s Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show on Friday in Olympia.
Nathaniel Downey’s artwork titled “Slugs” was picked for a Judge’s Choice Award. Another piece by Downey, “Grasp on Reality,” won an ArtsEd Washington Award.
Emily Rawson’s piece, “Heavy Metal Salmon,” won a PESB Award. Okanogan High art teachers Dan Brown and Lonnie Dixon also received awards for their art programs.
