WHS baseball allows just three runs in pair of wins

YAKIMA — The Wenatchee Panthers baseball squad compiled a pair of dominant wins Saturday to advance to the class 4A state semifinals. Wenatchee defeated Lewis & Clark 3-0 in the opening round of state and went on to beat Big Nine rival Moses Lake 13-3 in the quarterfinals.

The Panthers will play South Kitsap on Friday for a chance to advance to the state championship game for the first time since 1995.
