WENATCHEE — Two languages are better than one. That’s what nearly all students, their parents and staff at Lewis and Clark Elementary School believe, and practice every day.

Lewis and Clark is the only school in the region that teaches all of its classes — from kindergarten through fifth grade — in Spanish and English. The dual language program started there in some classrooms in 2004. In 2008, dual language learning was expanded to all classes at the school.
