WENATCHEE — Wenatchee United FC keeps finding ways to hinder its winning chances, and Saturday’s 3-2 loss against the Spokane Shadow was no exception. The Capitals (0-4-0) drew a penalty kick in the seventh minute of a handball call, which set the Shadow up for an easy opportunity to go ahead 1-0.

Spokane scored again with 30 minutes gone to make it a 2-0 contest. Wenatchee made a substitution shortly after, bringing Joel Villa off the bench, and Villa promptly scored a goal at the 33rd minute to make it a 2-1 affair heading into halftime.
