WENATCHEE -- Wenatchee United FC won its first game in franchise history Sunday with a 3-1 victory over Yakima United FC at the Apple Bowl.
The Capitals (1-4-0) struck early with a goal from Adrian Espinoza off an assist from Joel Villa with four minutes gone. Villa gave the home team a 2-0 lead on a score with 14 minutes gone off an assist from Eleazar Galvan. Galvan further extended the lead with a goal at the 59th minute. Junior Garcia scored Yakima's lone goal in the 90th-minute mark.
