‘America’ celebrated at WVC

A great opportunity to celebrate Memorial Day and our country is to visit the just-unveiled sculpture “America” by Wenatchee Valley College artist Lance Dooley.

Dooley, who recently created the much-talked-about sculpture of E.T. Pybus for Pybus Public Market, this time has created a bronze cast of an American bald eagle with the U.S. flag enshrouded in the eagle’s talons.
