TWISP — "It seems like everybody I’ve met on the east side, they’re just so real," sweet-voiced Tacoma native Vicci Martinez told us in 2006. At that time, Martinez was well on her way to drumming up a loyal following in NCW, and her big showing on NBC's "The Voice" was still five years away. Launching her touring career at age 20, Martinez worked clubs, coffeehouses and outdoor festivals to get her music out, and in 2003 scored highly on "Star Search." Her Republic Records album "Vicci" in 2012 featured guest vocals by "The Voice" judge Cee-Lo Green. Her latest single is "Otra Canción." She comes back to welcoming eastside ground with a Twisp River Pub show at 8:30 p.m. June 5. Tickets are $20 in advance, available at brownpapertickets.com. Chelan's own Olivia de la Cruz opens the show.
