Former Wenatchee resident Natalie Palmer, district governor for District 9 Toastmasters International, will be presented the Excellence in Education and Training Award at a Hall of Fame ceremony Aug. 21 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. District 9 Toastmasters serves more than 55 Toastmaster Clubs and 850 members in Eastern Washington, Northeastern Oregon, and Northern Idaho.
State Farm Agent Rick Baldini, ChFC, CLU, CASL, CLF has relocated to Wenatchee. He has been with State Farm for 26 years, both in administration and agency services, and most recently was district manager in Spokane. Emergency responder Gregory Horton of Cascade Medical Center recently completed training offered by the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Ala. The CDP is operated by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security’s Federal Management Agency and is the only federally-chartered Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) training facility in the nation.
