PATEROS — When you ask a Carlton Complex fire survivor who lost their home where they’re staying, many of them say they’re in a travel trailer.
These structures designed as temporary housing on wheels are popping up everywhere. They’re set up in parking lots, friends’ driveways, or right on the charred property where a house once stood.
Many are on loan. But increasingly, people have been donating their fifth-wheels and travel trailers to victims.
