Second City, first in line

WENATCHEE — It’s hard to be funny when you’re a bundle of nerves. The first time Nicole Hastings stepped onto The Second City comedy stage, all she could think about was who stood there before: Jim Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray and Stephen Colbert, to name a few. “I couldn’t believe I was there,” Hastings said in a phone interview Monday. “There’s a certain magic there, to be on the main stage where they were, my heros, like Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch.”  READ MORE »
