Cashmere High’s ‘Curious Savage’ to open tonight

The Cashmere High School Drama Department production of “The Curious Savage” opens tonight at the Cashmere Middle School Auditorium. The show, a comedy by John Patrick, has three performances this week, Thursday through Saturday, starting at 7 p.m.

October First Friday brings dinos, fiber arts and more to the valley

With summer officially done and over with, October brings a new collection of art and artists for First Friday. The evening, put together by Wenatchee First Fridays, runs from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and features multiple venues, including galleries, storefronts, cafes and others. A few locations have slightly modified times. Here’s the list of venues:

Wool Work For Wine’ event unites sheep, artists and wine

The sound of animals serves as a backdrop to all events at Snowgrass Winery in Entiat. Ducks fluttering and quacking in the pond, curious goats sticking their noses through the fence, the quiet murmur of hens roaming the backyard and, of course, the sheep.
