Dutch Bros. raises money for St. Vincent De Paul

WENATCHEE — Wenatchee Valley Dutch Bros. locations recently raised $6,185 to support the St. Vincent De Paul organization. The business donated proceeds from its Dec. 16 sales to the nonprofit.

Relay for Life kickoff planned for Jan. 10

EAST WENATCHEE — The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Chelan and Douglas County will hold a free kickoff program at 5 p.m. Jan 10 at Bonaventure, 50 29th St.

WENATCHEE — Wenatchee High School’s Speech and Debate team swept its Dec. 10 home tournament, earning honors as the top individual events school, top debate school and top large squad.

Local firefighters complete training regimen

LAKE WENATCHEE — Lake Wenatchee Fire and Rescue firefighters David Millard, Jodi Gage, Patrick McGarry, Drew Salinger, Kyle Olson, Josiah Norby, Dawson D’Atre and Carl March completed a training academy Dec. 9.
