Does this photo look familiar? That’s because we first ran it three years ago. We need more people to send us photos of their kids and pets so we can include them on the weekly Your News page. In this photo, Mary Anne Webley of Quincy captured her 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter, Bailey Webley, after they finished picking blueberries from a neighbor’s large blueberry field. Bailey is the daughter of Clint and Maristella Webley of East Wenatchee.
A group of girls gathered at the Waters family home for an end-of-summer party in May 2010 to celebrate the start of seventh grade, and the over-eager family pooch wanted in on it. “ ‘One, two, three’ was meant for the girls to know when the picture would be taken, but Tucker, our two-year-old lab, thought it meant for him to jump,” says Natalie Waters. From top, the girls are Mia White, Sarah Kneadler, Betsy Arlt, Marissa Parks, Hannah Waters (Natalie’s daughter) and Aja Silliman.
Em-J is a sweet little girl who is very social, say the folks over at the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society. She is a 4-month-old black and brown short hair domestic mix. Em-J loves lots of attention and she will nuzzle and purr her approval. At her foster home, she lived indoors and was litter box trained. She has also been around dogs. Em-J longs for some quality snuggle time with a new forever friend.
